All of us want to look younger.  It’s human nature.  Everyone seems to be looking for the perfect skin treatment product and the best way of looking more radiant. The health and beauty section at the store is filled with lotions and products in every color size and fragrance. Each one claims to be the ideal skin treatment product that you can buy. Then there are products which you can solely by through a private distributor. These are more expensive and are guaranteed to be the best skin care product that you’ll ever use.

I’ve discovered that so long as I’m consistent in using any product they almost all do the job about the same. Basically do a good job of cleaning my face and putting on a moisturizer before going to sleep and then put on an additional application of moisturizer under my makeup each morning, my skin looks and feels great. From time to time I will use a peel off masque to remove lifeless skin. I have found that the more creams and potions I expose my skin to the drier it gets. For me the most effective skin care product is consistency. People will see an advertisement or will try out a home party offering beauty items and they will buy lotions and other natural skin care add-ons. Because they have spent so much and have a renewed interest in how they look they will be diligent in their skincare regimen and they will look healthier. I really believe that if they would have taken any product and used it consistently they would have the same outcome. As long as you stay away from harsh chemicals, which hardly any skin care products include, you are going to get equivalent benefits from the various products. I find that if I choose a serum that I like the scent of I’m a lot more likely to put it on following my shower to help keep my skin smooth. Our skin is the largest organ we have. Its smart to be good to it and to keep it healthy. The very best skin care product that we can use on a daily basis is protection from the sun’s rays. Sun damage not only weakens the skin but it ages it and may even cause many forms of cancer. Safeguarding your skin from the sun’s rays and maintaining it each and every day will help to keep you looking good.

In the end, there is no substitute for diligence and persistence.  Therefore like your mother always said – wash your face before you go to bed and put some cream on your face. Just remember to make it an excellent facial cleanser and a nourishing, protecting facial moisturizer.
